FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We understand that you maybe new to this and have questions. In that case, we would love to have you come in for a consultation. Here are a few commonly asked questions to help you through.

Can I bring a friend?

Due to the lengthy time needed to complete your service and limited space, we ask that no friends or children join you during your appointment.

How long does weaving/extentions take to put in?

​All services differ but expect to be in the salon 3-5 hours. Please do not be in a rush to leave the salon.

How do I pay my deposit or consultation fee?

Cash, Venmo, PayPal, Credit, Debit.

How long should I keep my hair in?

We recommend that you keep your hair in for 8-10 weeks for hygene and safety. Our goal is to keep your hair healthy and growing.

Can I get any other service during my appointment?

Yes. All services need to be booked in advance. We must make sure we have enough time to complete everything that you may need.

Can you provide hair?

Yes we can provide hair to you at an additional charge.

Where do I buy hair?

There are a number of vendors that we can recommend to you. Please do not buy packaged beauty supply hair.

How much hair do I need?

If using hair longer than 12” you will need THREE bundles. If using hair longer than 22” you will need FOUR.

Can you color my bundles?

Yes. To color your bundles we will need the hair 10 days before your appointment.

SALON POLICIES

NEW CUSTOMERS

 

A new customer is considered anyone who has never been seen at Just Vanity Salon OR has not been seen in within 12 weeks.

  • All new customers must have a consultation before any service.

  • There is a $50 consultation fee. During your consultation we will discuss your hair and desired services. We will answer all of your questions. Your consultation fee will be applied to your service if booked within 30 days. If you do not book within 30 days, your consultation fee will be forefitted.

  • There is a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee for any appointment. At point of service the booking fee will be applied to your service.

  • Please ensure that contact information (name, phone, email) is correct.

  • Removal or adjustments to other stylists work may come at an additional charge.

 

CANCELLATION/LATE POLICY

Lets face it, life happens! But with the length of time required to offer you with the service and attention you deserve, every second counts.

  • Cancellations require 48 hours notice. You have ONE opportunity to reschedule within two weeks or your deposit will be forfeited. If another cancellation is needed, you will forfeit your deposit.

  • You have a 15 minute grace period. After that, your appointment will be cancelled. If we are able to accommodate you, a $50 convenience fee will be added to your service.

 

 

OTHER IMPORTANT POLICIES

Here is a little spot to help clear up any confusion that may arise.

  • For Weaving and Extension services, your hair must be WASHED, DRY, and DETANGLED. If these conditions are not met, additional service fees WILL apply.

  • If reusing hair, it may not be cut up in tiny pieces.

  • Bundles must be clean and free of oils and product.
